Nature and extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements.

Academic Committee in each department is looking after the improvement in academic excellence with the support of students through students council.  In addition, Director – Academic audit is personally looking after the academic audit function through various management practices outlined in the AICTE guideline. This includes departmental feedback, faculty feedback directly taken from the students.

Mechanism / Norma and Procedure for democratic / Good governance

The governing council is fully involved in good governance of the institute by way of practicing the democratic approach of delegating the authorities to the head of the institutions. Quarterly meeting of the governing council decides and approves all the necessary capital expenditures and other aspects of quality education to allow the head of the institution to run the programmes as efficient as possible.  There is no interference from the top management on day-to-day matters of running the institution.

Student feedback on Institutional Governance/Faculty performance

A full time Director – academic audit is looking after the academic performance through the student feedback process about the faculty and the department as well.  This is done regularly and the records are kept in the institutions, faculty wise and departmental wise.

Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

A grievance cell is in place in the institution being administered by the Administrative officer on day-to-day basis. All the grievances are being addressed by the principal in consultation with the top management, where need be and students and faculty members are informed accordingly.
